Flame Retardant DCPD Characteristics: Formulated with additives to meet flammability standards (often UL94 V-0 or V-1 equivalent). Maintains high impact properties while ensuring safety.

High Heat DCPD Characteristics: Enhanced thermal stability with a higher Glass Transition Temperature (Tg > 140°C).

Design & Processing Guidelines

  • Venting: Since DCPD is injected as a liquid that reacts quickly, proper mold venting is critical to prevent trapped gas. JUCHENG engineers optimize vent placement.
  • Draft Angles: Standard draft of 1° to 3° is recommended.
  • Wall Thickness: Ideal wall thickness is 4mm to 8mm. Thick sections can be molded, but curing heat must be managed.
  • Bonding & Repair: DCPD can be bonded using specialized structural adhesives, allowing for the creation of massive assemblies. It is also repairable if scratched.
